The extract used in VemoHerb Bulgarian Tribulus is high quality, purified, clean of unwanted substances organic dry extract standardised at 60% furostanol saponins determined as protodioscin.
Our extract is thoroughly standardized almost to 100% as follows:
- Furostanol saponins, determined as protodioscin, based on dry substance, not less than 60.0 %
- Tannic compounds, determined as tannin, based on dry substance, about 10.0 %
- Flavonoids, determined as rutin, based on dry substance, about 10.0 %
- (water loss on drying – 5%)
One of the main secrets of our Bulgarian Tribulus extract is the synergistic effect of all active ingredients in it, not only the protodioscin itself.
We often say “our extract”. Yes, it is right, we not only produce the dietary supplements branded VemoHerb but we also manufacture the precious raw material used in it – the genuine Bulgarian Tribulus terrestris extract. That give us the opportunity to absolutely close the production cycle for the nutritional supplements, which allows us to implement control at all production stages of the final products and that gives us the confidence to offer high quality products at a competitive price.
We standardize our extract at 60% furostanol saponins determined as protodioscin, according to the Bulgarian spectrophotometric assay.
There is a big difference between the furostanol saponins determined as protodioscin, and the general saponins which are common in Chinese and Indian extracts.
Just to make a comparison, please note that in the Chinese and Indian extracts with content of 60-90% saponins, which have flooded the market (and there are even such falsely claiming that are Bulgarian extracts), the actual content according to the Bulgarian spectrophotometric assay which we are using, is not more than 4-5%.
As a result, our product is more than 10 times more potent than these extracts and that reflects to the dosages at which should be applied in the end customer products, suppose one really wants to achieve noticeable effect by using that supplement. That’s why VemoHerb Bulgarian Tribulus is offered in capsules of 200 mg which is absolutely sufficient and the results are perceivable in one week.
The other benefit is that our extract is extremely purified
(as it is standardized almost to 100%) meaning that the active ingredients will be easily assimilated. On the contrary, if you take supplement with 2000 mg capsule content of Tribulus extract, that means the extract is weak and saturated with inactive ingredients which dull the poor effect that this supplement might have even more.
Another things which are important and useful to note is that for obtaining such a potent extract as this applied in VemoHerb Bulgarian Tribulus we use an extract ratio of min 1:50
(i.e. we produce 1 kg extract from 50 kg dry herb). Further, the production process is very complicated but in order to get a better idea, it generally includes more than dozen extractions, in order not only to guarantee the highest content of the active ingredients, but also to purify the product from all unnecessary ingredients which may lower the beneficial effects of the extract. All of that contributes for the high quality of the famous Bulgarian Tribulus extract with well proven through the years medicinal properties.
Something very important, that is usually “missed”, is the fact that the Bulgarian Tribulus terrestris phytochemistry is different from this of the herbs with different origin
– because of the location, the unique climate and relief of the country, different parts of the plant that are used for obtaining the extract, different time of the year and the special way/method for gathering the herb. All of this determines the distinction in pharmacological and physiological functions, with the priority of the Bulgarian drug over all the rest. The Bulgarian Tribulus terrestris extract has the highest percentage of active substances.
Most of the Chinese and Indian extracts are from cultivated herbs (not wild grown) which substantially lowers the effect of the herb and sometimes it may even not be beneficial due to the fertilizers and pesticides used. On the contrary, our extract is produced from wild grown herbs, which makes it fully organic and clean.
Finally, at the end of the day, what is the most important is that the extract works. If it doesn’t work for the consumer, they will simply stop buying it.
One can check by their selves the difference between low quality extracts and ours – if you take VemoHerb Bulgarian Tribulus for 1 month, have a break for a month, and then take cheap Chinese extract for another month.
